Smart transport investment by sector
Around 20 percent of a city’s greenhouse gas emissions may be attributable to private and public transport. It is not surprising, therefore, that the transportation system is one of the vital pillars of many smart-city projects. There is a steady 33 percent increase in all smart transport investments by sector between 2011 and 2017.
