Asia-Pacific: smartphone forecasts, 2011–2015The falling prices of smartphones and the rollout of 3G networks in China along with the introduction of 3G in India are primary growth drivers of smartphones in the Asia- Pacific region, as is a growing middle class in India, China, Indonesia and Vietnam. The market for smartphones is expected to grow at a 23 percent CAGR from 2011 to 2015 in this region.
