Scott Liewehr is an Analyst for Gigaom Research and the President and Principal Analyst at Digital Clarity Group (DCG). He believes that digital content is transforming the enterprise, and strives to provide clarity and pragmatic advice to help organizations through this change. With a passion for content management since leading the development of his first large-scale intranet for Starwood Hotels in the late 90′s, he has led ECM, WCM and portal engagements for more than 55 Fortune 500′s, and has advised more than 100 others as an industry analyst.
Prior to DCG, he was the Lead Analyst for the Web Content Management practice at the Gilbane Group and led the professional services teams for several integrators and agencies before that. Outside of DCG but within the digital transformation world, he keeps busy as the elected President of the Content Management Professionals association (CM Pros), the host of CMS-Connected, and the chair of the Engagement Track at Gilbane conferences.
Outside work, he is committed to helping children with autism and autism-spectrum disorders as a member of the Board of Directors for the School for Language and Communication Development in New York. He lives on Long Island, NY with his wife and three beautiful children.
