David Feinleib is an Analyst for Gigaom Research and the author of The Big Data Landscape, Big Data 100, and Big Data Trends. Mr. Feinleib provides advisory and consulting services to technology buyers and vendors in the areas of Big Data and Mobile Computing.
Mr. Feinleib is also an expert in venture capital investments and entrepreneurship. He was a General Partner at Mohr Davidow Ventures, a Sand Hill Road venture capital firm with $2B under management. He is the founder of five tech startups, with acquisitions by HP, EMC, and Keynote Systems. He began his career at Microsoft.
Mr. Feinleib holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BA from Cornell University. He is an avid rock climber, triathlete, and violinist, and recently completed Ironman France.
