Another baby step for Apple’s mobile wallet
In his Weekly Update, Colin Gibbs, the Gigaom Research curator for mobile, looks at ‘Apple: the tortoise in mobile payments versus the hares’. He looks at the small step of Apple using its Passbook for iTumes account deposits at retail Apple stores as a small step toward its potentially challenging the likes of the consortium offering ISIS (soon to be rebranded) in the slow-to-coalesce mobile payments market.
