SOA finds new life
In his Weekly Update, David Linthicum, the Gigaom Research curator for cloud, takes a look at “the good news and the great news about the move to a service-based cloudy world”. What he finds is new life for the principles and practices of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) now being applied in cloud-based environments. He sees the service-based approach of most cloud design and management something of an update from the SOA of a decade earlier–without the SOA label.
