Predictive analytics and Hadoop gain in new announcements
In his Weekly Update, Andrew Brust, the Gigaom Research research director for data, reports out of last week’s Gigaom Structure conference that the ‘Data analytics world gets new releases, new partnerships, en masse’. New platforms, Hadoop 2.0 support, products, and alliances were among the many announcements that confirmed the full arrival of predictive analytics and maturation in the broader Hadoop space.
