What’s up with Cisco and Jive?
In his Weekly Update, Stowe Boyd, the Gigaom Research curator for social, asks, “What does the Cisco/Jive partnership mean?”
In short, he doesn’t see it as meaning much, other than that Cisco’s WebEx Social and recently acquired Collaborate.com probably aren’t getting much traction or further investment at Cisco. With Jive having its own problems in the market, Stowe doesn’t see the announcement as a particularly big boost for it, either.
