		<description><![CDATA[Stowe, your observation that &quot;...the great majority of people are unaware that the basic premises underlying our world order have shifted permanently&quot; especially resonates with me. Working for one of the most powerful software companies on the planet, I see this lack of awareness demonstrated daily in decisions and actions. There is simply no recognition that the geomagnetic poles have shifted and the compass no longer points north. We continue to do what we&#039;ve always done only harder and with diminishing returns. 

It&#039;s ironic that the military is leading the way in adapting to complexity and incorporating design into their warfighting doctrine while business continues, like old generals, to fight the last war.
