  1. I agree that Evernote, Dropbox, etc. seem to bump right up against task management tools. There are a number of task management tools that integrate loosely with file-sync-and-share apps: it seems so obvious when something like ‘please review this doc and let me know what you think’ is a central use case in modern knowledge work.

  2. I’m a huge Evernote fan and an avid user, but I’ve always wanted more out of Evernote. Seems like it would be a no brainer to have it extended for task management (GTD) and I agree with the statement that it lacks really “social” integration. Where Evernote shines is grabbing a note (from email, web, desktop screen capture, makining a note manually, etc) but once a “note” is captured, I would love to be able to put a priority on it and follow-up date… and if it’s going enterprise the follow-up would include assigning it to someone.
