Today in Mobile
Apple trotted out its latest iPhone today, and there were no substantial surprises. The new handset supports LTE as expected, and its larger screen and thinner form also conformed to earlier reports. But while that may sound underwhelming, I think it’s very difficult to overstate the importance of 4G. LTE is widely available thanks to Verizon and AT&T, and the technology is already resulting in increasing consumption of mobile data. So I think there are plenty of consumers out there who were holding off an buying any new phone until now.
