Today in Mobile
TechCrunch is reporting this morning on a new survey from Appcelerator that finds 53 percent of mobile developers believe Apple’s iOS is best positioned to win the enterprise, while only 38 percent believe Android is the most likely mobile OS to succeed in the corporate world. Dan Rowinski of ReadWriteWeb opines that those figures bode well for Microsoft’s Windows Phone, because it signals waning support for the BlackBerry OS that once ruled the world. I suppose that’s true to an extent, but if Windows Phone continues to struggle there’s a good chance iOS could become the No. 1 mobile enterprise platform in the world. And that would mean Microsoft had blown a huge opportunity.
