Today in Connected Consumer

There’s no escaping the Apple antitrust story today. I’ll have more about it in tomorrow’s Weekly Update, but for now I’ll just note that there seems to be a fair amount of skepticism about the government’s case, especially against Apple. The Consumer Electronics Association practically worked itself into a Tea Party-lather over the suit, excoriating the Obama Administration for its temerity in going after an American icon like Apple and warning that the nation is heading over a cliff. Hmm. The Wall Street Journal has the most comprehensive overview of case this morning with a solid front-pager. In the meantime, time to load up on low-priced e-books from Amazon now that three of the five publishers sued in the case have settled and agreed to drop the agency pricing model.
