Zeus Technology, the UK-based developer of software load balancing and network traffic management solutions, has been acquired by San Francisco’s Riverbed Technology in a deal worth up to $140 million. Zeus load balancing software is available for use in the data center and as an option on Amazon Web Services and the company also powers the load balancing capability of the Rackspace Cloud.
