Smartphone sales continue to surge in the U.S., according to new data from ComScore, and Android is building on its momentum. The market research firm said Google’s mobile OS now claims 38 percent of U.S. users, up five percent from the previous three months. Apple saw the market share for its iOS grow 1.4 percent to 26.6 percent, while Research In Motion’s BlackBerry OS declined to 24.7 percent. As TG Daily points out, that means RIM lost another million users over the last three months.
