Real Networks has struggled in recent years, and the sudden departure of their CEO (who replaced Rob Glaser) is not going to do anything to change the opinion that the company’s best days may be behind it. Glaser has indicated he won’t be stepping back into the C-suite (at least as CEO), so it will be interesting to see if the company can attract a blue-chip CEO to try and steer Real as it tries to find its bearing.
