Today in Cloud
What’s a bigger deal today, Microsoft rolling out a slew of Hyper-V Cloud services, or Marvell releasing its first ARM-based server processor. I’ll go with the latter, as it will be a true revolution if ARM-based servers actually catch on and begin displacing x86 for certain cloud workloads. Microsoft’s news is a big deal because of its affirmation of the Hyper-V-as-internal-cloud strategy, but it really just gets the company closer to VMware, IBM and HP on the services side.
