With the dust settling after the spectacular release of the iPhone 4G, talk has turned to the reception issues the seem to be plaguing the gadget when it’s held certain ways. Predictably (and hilariously), Apple has responded by telling its users that they’re holding it wrong and need only change their grip. Blaming users for what amounts to a slight design flaw is sure to insult the hundreds of thousands around the world who stood in line for hours to buy the iPhone. But Apple has demonstrated a remarkable ability in the last few years to thrive even as it garners negative PR. So while the reception problems make for great headlines, they won’t do anything to slow Apple’s roll.
