Today in Cleantech

Well played, Tesla. Previously, we expected a range of $14 to $16 on 11.1 million shares for the EV maker’s IPO.  The company finally settled on 13.3 million shares at $17 a pop.  Risky?  Well today, the company’s coffers are $226 million richer.  And while there are still concerns about the company’s ability to execute profitably, it’s an undeniably big moment for cleantech firms, advanced battery makers and other green EV makers. I bet you the mood at Fisker is a lot brighter today, too.
