We’ve speculated before that media companies would leap at the possibilities presented by the iPad. Media execs now seem to have gotten the message. News Corp. COO Chase Carey calls the iPad a “transforming event” for content owners, noting its potential to support interactive ads in apps and incorporate video into news stories. A bit odd, then, that Hulu, which is one-third owned by News Corp. seems to be in no hurry to bring its service to the iPad.
