Making Market Research More Social

One of the most enjoyable parts of the GigaOM Pro offering is the conversations that ensue around our market research reports, Long Views, Weekly Updates and more.  Not only do our subscribers have interesting things to say about our content, but the analysts, editors and curators are all part of the dialogue as well.

That’s the case, even when people disagree. GigaOM Pro analyst Alfred Poor wrote a report about how the plasma TV market is on the ropes, which didn’t sit too well with the president of the Plasma Display Coalition. I told Mr. Palumbo if he disagreed with Alfred’s assessment, I would welcome his comments to sit side-by-side with Alfred’s report, and he took me up on the offer.
